Questions
Can I switch between Journal Mode and Active Search?
Yes, instantly, any number of times. Your journal, entries, and past generations travel with you. Upgrade when a search begins; downgrade when you land.
What happens after Focused Search ends?
Your account drops to Journal Mode at $15/month so your journal stays alive. You can manually start another Focused Search later, switch to monthly Active Search, or downgrade further. All without losing your data.
Why isn't there a free tier?
Because the journal is the product, and a journal with no commitment behind it doesn't get updated. $15/month is a deliberate trade: a small recurring reason to keep tending the material, versus free-and-forgotten.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your journal, uploads, and generated documents stay available for 30 days after cancellation in case you come back. After that they're permanently deleted.
Do you use my career data to train AI models?
No. Your content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for generation only; Anthropic does not use API data for training. Nothing in your journal is used to train our models or anyone else's.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within the first 14 days of any subscription, no questions asked. For Focused Search, the same 14-day window applies from the date of purchase.
